Julia
Julia first came to the Turlock Gospel Mission in 2014. She was desperate, fleeing domestic violence, addicted to alcohol and with nowhere to turn. She was welcomed with open arms and met TGM Case Manager Karen Eubanks. Julia says, “Karen told me that God had a plan for my life and she gave me hope!”
At TGM Julia received a warm meal, emergency shelter, and case management services, Karen listened to her story and built a relationship with Julia that began to unlock the serious challenges she faced. Karen connected Julia to a Christian alcohol recovery program and Julia developed a relationship with God and with his help did the hard work of getting clean and sober. Julia says, “I am redeemed by the blood of the Lamb and I am healthy again!”
Today Julia has been clean and sober for over three years, she has left abusive relationships in her past and she is working full time in a Christian ministry! Julia describes her work this way; “ We help ladies who have lost their way reunite with their families! With God’s help, Mothers and Children can be happy again!”
Julia credits the Turlock Gospel Mission with helping to save her life and getting her back on the right track. We believe that the Glory for that belongs to God, and we are so grateful to you for your partnership. We were here in Julia’s hour of need and for so many other men, women and children because of your generosity and faithfulness.
Love for the Lord changed my life!
